The agent of ex-Inter winger Achraf Hakimi has revealed that despite having just signed for Paris Saint Germain, he still dreams of playing for Real Madrid one day, according to a report in the Spanish broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with Spanish radio station Onde Cero, Alejandro Camano explained that Real Madrid did have the first right of refusal during the deal between Inter and Paris Saint Germain, but they are not in a financial position to sign the Moroccan.

The reason why Achraf Hakimi still hopes to be a Real Madrid player in the future is that he came through at their academy and spent the majority of his life living in the Spanish capital.

“The hope and the dream is that Achraf Hakimi will return to Real Madrid because he was born in Madrid, he grew up in Madrid and as a final goal, one day, he would like to play for Real Madrid.”

The agent also confirmed that Premier League side Chelsea were very interested in the player but they ultimately weren’t willing to pay as high an upfront fee as Paris Saint Germain were, at €65 million.
