Inter are among the clubs looking to sign Luis Alberto with the Spanish midfielder unsettled at his current club Lazio.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, who report that the 28-year-old is also being targeted by the Nerazzurri’s Serie A rivals AC Milan and Juventus, and Spanish side Villarreal.
Alberto is currently thought to want a move away from the Biancocelesti, with the midfielder so far having refused to show up to the club’s pre-season training in an attempt to force a move away.
Should the player become available, the Nerazzurri could look to reunited him with former boss Simone Inzaghi, with the pair having spent five seasons together at Lazio, where the Spaniard has been playing since 2016.
It remains to be seen whether a move for the player would be financially viable, or whether the Biancocelesti would cooperate on his sale, but for now it appears that a move could be on the way for him and the Nerazzurri are interested.
