Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has asked to join Inter, and the 26-year-old is willing to take a pay cut in order to move to the Nerazzurri.

This according to Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, who report in today’s print edition that the Spaniard has handed in his transfer request and only wants Inter.

The willingness to lower his wages in order to link up with the Nerazzurri could be the surest sign yet that the player is determined to join the club yet, with the player reported to have agreed personal terms on a prospective contract.

The contract which he agreed to would reportedly see him earn a net of €3.5 million per season, a significant drop-off from the €5.7 million per season which he receives at Arsenal.

It remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri will be able to agree on the terms of a deal to bring the player in with the Gunners, but the player is keen on the switch.
