Midfielder Radja Nainggolan will travel with the Inter squad to the Florida Cup, and any decision on his future will be made after the team returns from the US.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Belgian will be available during the pre-season tournament, and his performances will be assessed by Nerazzurri head coach Simone Inzaghi.

Nainggolan’s departure has been thought to be close for weeks, with persistent links to Cagliari, where he spent the second half of last season on loan.

However, the Rossoblu have not yet completed a permanent deal for the Belgian, who remains an Inter player, thought talks are still ongoing.

A deal will not be done before the Nerazzurri depart to take part in the Florida Cup, however, and Inzaghi could take the opportunity to observe the 33-year-old’s performances and give the club an indication on his intentions for the player’s future.
