Cagliari have made their stance clear on Inter target Nahitan Nandez, who they want €10 million for up front for a paid loan with a purchase option.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that Rossoblu president Tommaso Giulini has demanded that at least this amount come in as an initial fee should the player join the Nerazzurri on loan.

Talks are ongoing between Inter and Cagliari regarding a move for a paid loan with a purchase option for the versatile Uruguayan, thought to be considered as a replacement for the departed Achraf Hakimi by the Nerazzurri.

The Sardinian club are amenable to an arrangement, with the player’s own wish thought to be a move to Inter, but they have made clear that a deal with this formula will only be made if the Nerazzurri can put up a high initial fee.

It remains to be seen if this will present a major obstacle in negotiations or if an agreement can be worked out.
