Fiorentina are targeting Chelsea wing-back Davide Zappacosta, also thought to be among Inter’s targets to replace the departed Achraf Hakimi.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Italian could be pursued by the Tuscan club should they lose right-back Pol Lirola.

Zappacosta, who spent the past two seasons on loan in Serie A with Roma and then Genoa, is thought to be admired by the Nerazzurri, and seen as a potential option to take over the right-sided role from Hakimi after the Moroccan’s sale to Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the Nerazzurri could face competition for his signature, with La Viola also seriously considering moving for the player should Lirola depart as expected.

It remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri would be willing to go head to head with La Viola for the player, or if they would move on to other targets.
