Inter Midfielder Radja Nainggolan Requests €2M To Terminate Contract & Join Cagliari, Italian Media Report

Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan has revealed his demands in order to terminate his contract at the club and complete a permanent switch to Cagliari.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Libero, the Nerazzurri are desperate to get the Belgian off their wage bill after seeing no role for him at the club, whilst Nainggolan himself is set on joining Cagliari after spending the second half of last season on loan there.

However, before being able to complete a move to Sardinia, Nainggolan must be freed from his contract at Inter and is asking for a €2 million severance package.

The former Roma midfielder has a year remaining on the €3.5m per season deal he signed upon joining from the Giallorossi in 2018, but Inter are only ready to offer €1.2m to cancel the contract.

Whilst negotiations between player and club are ongoing, it is expected that a compromise will be reached and Inter are poised to terminate their agreement with Nainggolan.
