Inter could sell striker Lautaro Martinez in the summer should an offer arrive similar in size to that which was received for Achraf Hakimi from Paris Saint-Germain.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri are not planning to sell the Argentine this summer but would not turn down the right offer and would prefer his departure to that of Romelu Lukaku.

Hakimi’s sale to PSG was expected, with the club’s financial problems dictating that a major sale had to be made in order to bring in revenue from the transfer market.

It is thought that with the club having earned around €70 million from the Moroccan’s sale, there is no longer a pressing need for a significant sale.

However, there are still rumours around the 23-year-old’s status at the club, with the player’s contract set to expire in the summer of 2024 and multiple clubs around Europe thought to be interested.

Spanish giants Atletico Madrid in particular are thought to be admirers of the striker.

Should a major offer for the Argentine come in and the player want a move, then the Nerazzurri would seriously consider his departure.
