Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi remains a target for Fiorentina, with the Tuscan club narrowing down their search for a midfielder in the transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport who report that the 25-year-old is still on La Viola’s radar though he is not their target.

Sensi has endured a difficult time at the Giuseppe Meazza since arriving from Sassuolo in the summer of 2019, with flashes of his talent interrupted by injury issues.

However, the midfielder is still thought to have a future with the Nerazzurri and could look to find form and fitness under new head coach Simone Inzaghi,

However, Fiorentina have also shown a persistent interest in bringing him to the Artemio Franchi this summer, and this has not waned.

La Viola’s first-choice target is reportedly Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira, with Koln’s Ellyes Skhiri also in consideration, but after Torreira, the signing of Sensi is still their priority.
