Young Inter midfielder Gaetano Oristanio is expected to complete his move to Dutch side Volendam soon, with the 18-year-old set to undergo his medical with the club tomorrow.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Primavera player has settled on the Eerste Divisie side as his destination for next season.

The youngster has been in search for a loan destination during the summer, with the goal of finding senior experience after impressing with the Primavera side.

It is thought that the player was not initially sure of Volendam as a destination, and had been holding out for a move to a club in Serie B instead of making the switch to the Netherlands.

However, with Cremonese deciding to pursue a more experienced profile over the 18-year-old, and Monza targeting Crotone’s Junior Messias, Oristanio has accepted the offer from Volendam and should soon complete his move to the Dutch club where he will hope to take the next step in his career during the upcoming season.
