Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur could end up signing Inter’s Lautaro Martinez for €90 million but only if Harry Kane is sold to Manchester City.
This according to Italian media outlet L’Interista who report that Spurs see Lautaro Martinez as the ideal replacement for Harry Kane should the English international depart for Manchester City.
The report argues that Spurs will set aside €90 million to try to convince Inter to part ways with the Argentinian international striker despite the statements made by his agent, Alejandro Camaño, earlier today.
Camaño stated that the former Racing striker loves Inter and wants to extend his contract, but according to L’Interista, things could change should Spurs put up €90 million in cash.
Given Inter’s well documented financial woes this summer, that kind of cash would be very difficult for the Nerazzurri to decline.
Lautaro Martinez, who won the Copa America earlier this summer with Argentina, is currently under contract with the Nerazzurri until the end of June 2023.
