Inter are in talks with Genoa over the terms of a loan deal that would see the young striker join the Griffone.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Ligurian club are moving to bring in the 19-year-old for the upcoming season, and that talks are ongoing to reach an agreement on terms for a loan deal.
Salcedo returned to Inter this summer from two years on loan with Hellas Verona, and it has not been immediately clear where his future lies although a loan move away has always looked the likeliest possibility.
Genoa have emerged as having a keen interest in signing Salcedo, although they have yet to finalize a deal with the Nerazzurri.
The Nerazzurri will hope that should Salcedo leave for Genoa on loan that he can find regular game time and continue to grow and develop following his time at Verona.
