Young Inter defender Davide Redondi is set to join Hellas Verona on loan for the upcoming season.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that Verona are close to completing a deal that will see the 18-year-old join for the season.

Redondi has yet to make his debut for the Primavera team, but has starred for the Under-17 and Under-18 within the Nerazzurri’s youth sector so far in his burgeoning career.

The young centre-back has already spent one season away from the club on loan, with Cremonese’s Under-17 side during the 2019-20 season, and he will hope that he can shine in Verona’s youth setup and develop his game so that he can be prepared for an eventual step up into the senior game.

Redoni’s loan move is not reported to contain an option to buy, suggesting that the club still see him as one for the future and will assess his development when he returns from Verona.
