Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has made a full recovery from a minor muscle problem which had been sidelining him and will be available to face Verona on Friday.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Correire dello Sport, who report that the Argentine will be fit to start the Nerazzurri’s second match of the season after missing this weekend’s opener against Genoa.

Martinez was ruled out of the Genoa clash through suspension after picking up an accumulation of yellow cards towards the end of last season, but he has also been dealing with a minor injury problem.

The 24-year-old had been expected to make a full recovery in time to be available for selection against Verona, and this has been confirmed to be the case.

Martinez will likely make his season debut away at Verona, where he will be able to make his first competitive appearance under head coach Simone Inzaghi.
