Inter’s Serie A opener against Genoa over the weekend was the first time the club have played in front of supporters at the San Siro since the Serie A match against Napoli in February 0f 2020, with fans not having been allowed into stadiums for more than a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The club have paid tribute to the fans being back in the stadium with a post on their official Instagram account, captioned “Finally! 556 days later… We missed our Inter fans,” which shows a video of the day’s highlights.
