Young Inter striker Edoardo Vergani is all set to make a loan move to newly-promoted Serie A side Salernitana.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri are close to reaching an agreement with the Campanian club that would see the 20-year-old join on loan for the rest of the season.
Vergani returned to Inter from a loan spell with Bologna last season, where he did not receive significant playing time, and the club and player have been in search of the right destination for him to develop his football.
Salernitana could be the right club for the young striker, and will hope that he can make a major contribution to their push to retain their top flight status after coming up by finishing second in Serie B last season.
The move looks to be all but done, and all that is awaited now is the official announcement from the clubs.
