Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini is back in training with the rest of the Nerazzurri squad after recovering from a knee injury, and is aiming to return in time to be available for the clash with Sampdoria on September 12.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 27-year-old is getting back to full fitness after getting past the knock sustained in training a few weeks ago and that the prognosis is good that he will be back in time for the Nerazzurri’s first Serie A match back from the international break.

Gagliardini has missed the first two Serie A fixtures of the season for the club, against Genoa and Hellas Verona, after the knee problem which occurred in preseason training ruled him out for a number of weeks.

However, it now looks to be only a matter of getting back to match fitness alongside his teammates, and he can soon return to the pitch.
