Inter will look to pursue free transfers next summer as they look to strengthen their squad while being mindful of budgetary restrictions.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report from their widely-reported pursuits of Andrea Onana and Lorenzo Insigne, the likes of Matthias Ginter and Corentin Tolisso remain on the Nerazzurri’s radar.

Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana remains one of the top names on the Nerazzurri’s list of possible candidates to take over from Samir Handanovic in the long term.

The 25-year-old Cameroonian has been proposed to the club by his agent, and with his contract set to run out at the end of June 2022 he could arrive next summer on a free transfer.

Meanwhile, Borussia Monchengladbach defender Ginter could be brought in as a free agent next summer, and is a consideration for Inter as they look to provide central defensive options with the likes of Aleksandar Kolarov, Andrea Ranocchia, and Danilo D’Ambrosio all set to see their contracts run out next summer.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich midfielder Tolisso is a player who the Nerazzurri admire, and his contract also runs out at the end of June 2022 with no agreement on a new deal currently in sight.

Lastly, contract talks between Napoli and their captain Insigne are thought to be decisively stalled, and in the event that they are not able to find an agreement then the Nerazzurri are currently front-runners to bring him in next summer for free.
