Young Pisa striker Lorenzo Lucca has come onto Inter’s radar, with Sporting Director Piero Ausilio interested in the 20-year-old.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 20-year-old’s early form in Serie B this season is already causing the Sporting Director to take notice as he follows the player’s development.

Lucca enjoyed good form with Palermo in Serie C last season, earning a call-up to the Italian Under-21 national side as well as a move to Pisa who moved for the young striker.

So far, Lucca has impressed in Pisa’s opening two matches of the Serie B season, including by scoring a match-winning brace from the bench against Alessandria.

The young striker’s form has inspired the interest of a number of clubs, but with Inter wanting to focus on youth as they reconstruct their attack, Ausilio is closely monitoring the young Pisa man with an eye to a possible future move.
