Inter are set to start with striker Edin Dzeko with Stefano Sensi in the support role in Sunday’s Serie A clash with Sampdoria.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that as with the opening day match against Genoa, it is likely that Sensi will play as an attacking midfielder behind Dzeko against Roberto D’Aversa’s side.

Inter coach Simone Inzgahi has a selection headache on his hands for the trip to Genoa to face Sampdoria, with the majority of the squad returning from international duty and players away with South American national teams only back the day before the match.

Accordingly, Argentine strikers Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa are not likely to be ready to play from the start while Alexis Sanchez is not likely to be fully fit even if he is recovered from a calf injury.

Accordingly, the manager will likely utilize the same setup as against Sampdoria’s city rivals as he looks to continue on the club’s perfect Serie A start.

The predicted lineup is as follows:

Inter (3-5-1-1) Samir Handanovic; Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni; Matteo Darmian, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Hakan Calhanoglu, Federico Dimarco; Stefano Sensi; Edin Dzeko
