Italian coach Pierpaolo Bisoli believes that this season’s Scudetto race will be a three-way fight to the end, with the likes of Inter, Juventus, and AC Milan the teams likeliest to contend.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Radio Bianconera, as reported by FCInterNews, the tactician gave his predictions for the Scudetto race with the Serie A season about to resume from the international break.

Inter have started started strongly in their pursuit of a second successive Scudetto, being one of the five teams to have collected maximum points over the first two matchdays of the season.

One of the other five to do so are their city rivals AC Milan, with the Rossoneri already looking capable of equalling or even bettering last season’s second place finish in the table.

Juventus, meanwhile, have endured a difficult start, drawing and then losing their first two matches, but will look to reassert themselves after returning from the break, and could still be capable of making their difficult start to the season a distant memory.

“There will be, as always, a fight between three teams,” Bisoli stated. “I think Juve, Inter and Milan will contend for the title. I always see Juve as favorites because of what they have done in the past, they have a young squad and the younger guys will need to learn to put mistakes behind them.”
