Inter defender Stefan de Vrij is pleased to have achieved an emphatic 6-1 win over Turkey in a World Cup qualifier with the Dutch national team, bringing he and his teammates one step closer to the 2022 finals in Qatar and participation at the World Cup after missing the last edition.
The 29-year-old celebrated the victory with a post on his Instagram account, captioned “Finishing the national break off in style!” in which he is seen up against Turkey striker Burak Yilmaz, looking confident and composed as ever.
