The agent of Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen has rubbished any claims that a date has been set for the player to have medical examinations at Inter, according to a report in the Danish broadcast media today.

Speaking during an interview with Danish television channel TV2 Sport, as has been reported by FcINternews, Martin Schoots explained that no deadlines have been set on the recovery of Christian Eriksen.

“I read all sorts of speculation about these exams scheduled for next month. They are nonsense.”

Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch whilst playing for Denmark at Euro 2020. He received expert medical assistance on the pitch which saved his life, and he has since been recovering with his family.

He has made a visit to the Inter training ground but it was purely to see his teammates, not for any footballing reasons.

Rumours have circulated suggesting a date has been set for him to have medical exams to see if he can play for Inter again, but this is not true.
