Inter defender Federico Dimarco was over the moon after having scored his first goal for the Nerazzurri first team after a scorcher of a freekick broke the deadlock against Sampdoria away.
The former Inter Primavera player, told Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia at half time, how this goal was once he had been waiting for since he was a child.
“It is a moment I’ve been waiting for since I was 5-6 years old, when I started playing for Inter. I have been an Inter fan since the day I was born, so this makes it even more beautiful.
“I want to dedicate this goal to my family and to everyone who is close to me.”
Inter lead Sampdoria after the first 45 minutes by 2-1 away at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris after goals from Federico Dimarco and Lautaro Martinez.
