Italian Media Rate Federico Dimarco & Nicolo Barella As Inter’s Best Players Against Sampdoria

Defender Federico Dimarco and midfielder Nicolo Barella were Inter’s best performers in yesterday’s Serie A clash with Sampdoria according to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport.

Both players received scores of 7/10 for their displays in the Nerazzurri’s 2-2 draw at the Marassi yesterday in the player ratings for the match in today’s print edition of the newspaper.

Barella made a positive impression especially with his strong run to set up Lautaro Martinez for the Nerazzurri’s second goal, and was commended by Tuttosport.

Meanwhile, the newspaper are equally positive in their assessment of the performance by Dimarco on his first start for his boyhood club, in which he capped off a solid display with a quality free kick goal to open the scoring.

The lowest grade for the match was reserved for wing-back Ivan Perisic, with the 32-year-old getting a 5/10 score for his disappointing display on the left in which he failed to really impact the game.
