Inter’s forward players did not receive good reviews after they failed to hit the target against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday night, according to a report in the Italian media today.

In the ratings handed out by Tuttosport after the game, both Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez were only given 6 out of 10 despite the fact they both managed to create some excellent chances in the game.

That shows that their finishing left much to be desired and ultimately they have to take some of the blame for the defeat in Group D.

The two forwards were unlucky in the sense that they came up against Thibaut Courtois who put in one of his best performances in the Champions League to date.

He proved unbeatable throughout the game despite it looking like a matter of time until Inter take the lead.

He received 7.5 out of 10 in the ratings.
