Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has come in for praise in Italian media following his display against Bologna in Saturday’s Serie A clash at the San Siro.

The Croatian received good scores in the player ratings for the match from the major Italian newspapers for a solid performance in which he kept the side in control for an emphatic 6-1 win against the Rossoblu.

Brozovic has started every game for Inter this season under coach Simone Inzaghi, and he showed why against Sinisa Mihajlovic’s men, dictating play effectively from a deep midfield role.

Gazzetta dello Sport were the most positive in their score for the 28-year-old, awarding him a grade of 7.5/10, while the likes of Corriere dello Sport and L’Interista both gave the midfielder a 7/10 grade.

Inzaghi will hope that Brozovic can keep putting in displays as confident and polished as the one that he did on Saturday, giving the rest of the team a base on which to thrive.
