Ex-Juventus and Italy midfielder Claudio Marchisio has explained why he thinks Inter have made such a good start to the Serie A campaign, according to a report in the Italian media.
Whilst speaking at the launch of his new 5-a-side football team, as reported by FcINternews, Claudio Marchisio discussed the different fortunes many Serie A clubs have experienced over the first five games of the season.
He acknowledged the tough start that his old team, Juventus have had, saying: “The championship started as it should have started, apart from Juve. Time will tell.
The midfielder then explained that due to the many managerial changes, a lot of teams are transitioning. The reason why Inter are getting results sooner is that they have not changed the style of football or the shape from last season.
“Many coaches have been changed, the way of playing. Lazio are struggling, Inter with Simone Inzaghi have had success because they did not change the style.”
Whilst discussing Inter’s 2-1 come back win against Fiorentina on Tuesday night, Claudio Marchisio explained that Inter won the game because they are a solid unit of a team that works together well.
“Fiorentina have changed a lot in terms of the style. Inter made the comeback yesterday because they are a solid team.”
