Simone Inzaghi’s calm temperament has been a key part of Inter’s early-season success so far, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera today, executives at the club such as Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are enjoying the tranquillity that Simone Inzaghi brings to the club in comparison to the intense atmosphere that Antonio Conte created.

It is not necessarily a criticism of Antonio Conte, but such a turbulent summer transfer window would have been made a lot more difficult for everyone if he was still in the job.

Simone Inzaghi reportedly acted very calmly to the news that Romelu Lukaku had been sold so close to the start of the new campaign, and that allowed the club to bring in two players who have performed well for Inter so far.

It was of course very useful that the two coaches play the same style of football.
