Inter forward Alexis Sanchez looks to have a difficult relationship with his club, where he feels that he is not receiving enough playing time and would like a move away.

However, as Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport highlight, this is not the first time that the Chilean has wanted an exit, having already been ready to leave last January in a potential switch with then-Roma striker Edin Dzeko.

Sanchez was unhappy with having been an unused substitute in the Nerazzurri’s 2-1 win over Sassuolo on Saturday, and vented his frustration in a social media post where he appeared to hit out at the club for not making the best use of him.

This outburst has led to speculation that he could part ways with the club during the January transfer window in search of a more central role at another club.

This situation has come about in the past, with the player having made a similar social media outburst under Antonio Conte last season, while he had also reportedly been willing to make the switch to Roma in January.

The Nerazzurri had been considering a swap between the Chilean and Dzeko, who is now an Inter player, with the Giallorossi at the time, with Sanchez having been unsettled.

However, at the time nothing came of the situation and both Dzeko and Sanchez remained at their clubs for the rest of the season, though it remains to be seen if this will also be the case this time around.
