Cagliari forward Joao Pedro could be targeted by Inter in the January transfer window should Alexis Sanchez leave the club.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the Brazilian is among the Nerazzurri’s targets to replace the Chilean.

Sanchez could be on his way out from the Nerazzurri soon after a recent social media outburst in which he appeared to hit out at the club for his lack of playing time, and he could depart as soon as the January window.

Should he go, the club will look to replace him, and Pedro is one of the names on their list, with the 30-year-old reportedly admired by the club for his performances in Serie A with the Rossoblu.

Inter have a good relationship with Cagliari, and this could allow the negotiations to progress smoothly over Pedro’s signature if the Nerazzurri decide to swoop for him in the event of Sanchez’s departure.
