Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is close to agreeing on a new deal with the Nerazzurri, with only a few personal details left to iron out before he signs an extension.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Argentine is ready to commit his future to Inter having been close to an agreement for some time.
The only thing remaining on a final agreement is for the last of the personal terms to be worked out, but after the meetings with his entourage of the previous weeks the will of both the club and the player is to continue on together.
Martinez’s current deal is set to run until the end of June 2023, but the club want to secure the Argentine beyond this point, with a number of major European clubs having shown an interest in him over the summer, particularly La Liga and Premier League teams.
