Inter are not the only team that wants to make a move for Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana as he nears the end of his contract, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by Tuttosport today, Barcelona and Napoli are also very keen on making the Cameroonian part of their squad in the summer as that is when his contract with the Dutch side will expire.
This development could cause Inter to have a decision to make. They can either continue trying to sign him for free in the summer and hope that he joins them, or they can bring the deal forward.
That would mean paying Ajax a fee for him in the January transfer window rather than getting him on a free transfer.
This would also risk potentially upsetting the balance in the dressing room as Samir Handanovic may not be keen on seeing his replacement arrive in January.
