Two very wealthy European clubs are keen on taking Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic before he decides to sign an extension with the Nerazzurri, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported today by Tuttosport, Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea have made loose contacts with Marcelo Brozovic’s camp just to make their interest in the player known.

Given the incredible wealth that these two clubs possess, it could be a concern to Inter that they will be able to offer him considerably more money than the Nerazzurri are able to.

Despite this, Inter remains confident that he will still be their player beyond the expiry of his current deal which ends in 2022. This is because he has shown that he wants to stay and be part of the project, he just wants a higher wage than he is currently on.

The new deal will see him earn around €5 million a season.
