Inter striker Martin Satriano could join Cagliari on loan during the January transfer window in search of playing time.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the young Uruguayan could potentially be on his way to the Rossoblu as part of a deal that sees Nahitan Nandez come the other way.

Satriano had been a target of Cagliari during the summer, with his impressive preseason form having caught their eye among a number 0f other clubs, but in the end nothing came of their interest and the player was kept in the senior Inter squad by Simone Inzaghi.

However, the 20-year-old has received limited minutes on the pitch, and he could leave for the Rossoblu to continue his development on loan.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri could potentially be set to resume their pursuit of Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez, and could use the Sardinian side’s interest in Satriano as leverage to get a deal done for him.
