Inter are ready to do everything they have to in order to support coach Simone Inzaghi in pursuit of a second Scudetto.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the goal of the club this season is to successfully defend last season’s Scudetto crown.

Last campaign the Nerazzurri won their first Scudetto in eleven years, and did so in emphatic fashion with a twelve-point gap above their closest rivals in the table.

This time around Simone Inzaghi’s men have started well but look to be in for a tightly-contested race with strong rivals, currently sitting third in the table behind city rivals AC Milan and perfect starters Napoli.

Within the club, the aim is not just to have a strong season, but to go all the way once again and build on the momentum from last season, and the decisions are explicitly directed at this, including potentially supporting Inzaghi with major signings in the January transfer market.
