Inter striker Lautaro Martinez’s agent Alejandro Camano has explained that his client feels content at his current club amid his expected renewal with the Nerazzurri.

Speaking to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport in an interview published in today’s print edition, the agent also gave the view that it would be good if Inter-linked Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic were to remain in Serie A.

Martinez’s current deal is set to run out at the end of June 2022, but talks have been ongoing to reach an agreement on an extension that would secure his future.

The club see the Argentine as a player to build around for the future, and according to his agent he is happy to commit to the Nerazzurri and to build his own career with the club.

“Lautaro is very happy at Inter and in Milan,” the agent emphasized.

Camano also had words on the situation of Vlahovic, who Fiorentina have said will not extend his contract beyond its current end in the summer of 2023, and whose future has become a matter for some speculation with many clubs including Inter interested in the Serb.

The agent explained, “I don’t know Vlahovic’s situation in detail, but we’re talking about a fast, technical and strong striker. He can play at any big team. It would certainly be nice if the Serbian stayed in Italy.”
