The coach of new Serie A side Salernitana has said that Inter were given a very hard time by Sassuolo winger Jeremie Boga when they faced the Neroverdi, according to a report in the Italian media.
Speaking during his pre-match press conference, as reported by FcINternews, Fabrizio Castori was discussing the quality of opponents that his time now have to face after getting promoted to Serie A last season.
He then pinpointed the way that Jeremie Boga had performed against a defence of Inter’s quality when the two teams met before the international break.
“With Sassuolo I saw an excellent Salernitana in the presence of European champions and Boga who gave the Inter defence a headache.”
The Ivorian winger was a serious issue for Inter throughout the first half with his direct running and amazing dribbling ability. He gave Milan Skriniar in particular a very tough game.
Inter still managed to run out 2-1 winners from that game despite falling behind to a penalty from Domenico Berardi in the first half of the game.
