Inter Could Earn €3.5M If Suppercoppa Italiana Vs Juventus Played In Saudi Arabia, Italian Media Report

Inter and Juventus could each be set to earn €3.5 million in revenues if the Supercoppa Italiana match between the two is to be played in Saudi Arabia.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report on the amount that the two clubs will take in should the fixture be played abroad, with a decision to be made in the next week.

Inter play in the Supercoppa as reigning Serie A champions, while the Bianconeri come into the fixture having won last season’s Coppa Italia final.

The fixture will be held either in Saudi Arabia or Italy, with Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo flying to Ryadh to discuss the possibility of the match being played there as the Saudis still hold out hope of hosting the fixture.

The Nerazzurri could be in for a payday should the Supercoppa be played abroad, though it is not certain that this will be the case with matters related to broadcasting rights still to be worked out among other things in De Siervo’s talks in Saudi Arabia.
