Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia has shown how important the 3-1 win over FC Sheriff in the Champions League on Wednesday night was by saying the team did what they had to do.
In his Instagram post, the Italian defender alluded to the fact that Inter had to beat FC Sheriff twice to stand any chance of progression to the next stage of the UEFA Champions League, and they have now beaten them 3-1 on two occasions.
The caption for the Instagram post was: “We did what we had to do! Now for the Derby.”
