Inter have begun planning for a busy transfer window next summer and will target Premier League pair Antonio Rudiger and Alexandre Lacazette, as well as Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri have sounded out players who are set to be out of contract at the end of the campaign, with CEO Beppe Marotta ready to move for ex-Roma centre-back Rudiger, currently at Chelsea.
Inter will also explore the possibility of Rudiger’s Germany international teammate Matthias Ginter from Borussia Moenchengladbach, as they seek to bolster their defence next term.
Fellow Gladbach player Denis Zakaria is thought to be less likely to make the move to the Stadio San Siro however, with strong competition from elsewhere in Europe.
However, Marotta and Piero Ausilio are hopeful of being able to strike a deal for Arsenal’s French striker Lacazette, whilst Porto winger Jesus Corona has also emerged as a target for next year.
On the domestic front, Italian forward Insigne’s contract impasse with Napoli could open the door to a move north, with the Nerazzurri monitoring his situation.
This is in addition to Inter’s prime objective of securing Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana, after lengthy negotiations with the Cameroon international.
