Football player agent Oscar Damiani feels that Inter are the favourites to win the Scudetto this season ahead of AC Milan and Napoli, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
Speaking during an interview on Station Radio, via FCInternews, Oscar Damiani said that whilst AC Milan and Napoli will be able to push them all the way, Inter are the favourites for the Scudetto.
“There is AC Milan and Napoli. Juventus are too far away, while the others don’t have a squad up to par. My favourite is Inter, but the other two can also go all the way.”
Speaking specifically about the squad that Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is working with, Oscar Damiani explained that there are options in every role in the team and this is why they can win the Serie A title.
“He has a strong squad. Inzaghi has a lot of balance, I think he is an excellent coach. The team has alternatives in all roles, so they can certainly compete for the Scudetto together.”
Inter took a huge step toward achieving that target of winning the Scudetto for the second year in a row by beating Napoli 3-2 at San Siro last weekend.
That result was even more important because AC Milan were beaten by Fiorentina in Florence do the gap is just four points.
