Inter held a meeting with Uruguayan agent Edgardo Lasalvia in the last week, speaking with him about his clients Agusting Alvarez, Facundo Torres, and Darwin Nunez.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that all three players’ names came up in the meeting although nothing concrete has developed yet regarding their potential signings.
In the case of Alvarez, Lasalvia was in Italy to meet with no only the Nerazzurri but also AC Milan and Fiorentina about the Penarol striker.
The agent is also reported to have met with the likes of Zenit St. Petersburg and Borussia Dortmund regarding Alvarez.
Torres is another promising young Penarol striker who the Nerazzurri are reported to be monitoring, and his name also came up as another exciting prospect who the club are keeping contact over.
Lastly, Benfica striker Nunez is another client of Lasalvia’s and he has made himself a target for a number of European clubs with his form for the Lisbon giants.
Unlike Alvarez and Torres, however, Nunez is no longer seen as a young prospect but a player with more concrete value, and would likely cost no less than €40-45 million.
