Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi wants the club to sign Hellas Verona midfielder Antonin Barak for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the coach has made Barak a major transfer target although the Nerazzurri would face competition for his signature.

Barak has been one of the standout players for the Gialloblu this campaign as they have enjoyed good form under head coach Igor Tudor, including wins against Juventus and Roma, and a draw against Napoli.

The Czech midfielder is admired by Inzaghi as well as by the directors at Inter, who are now considering him a serious target for next summer.

Verona are resigned to losing Barak in June, though they will look to monetize his departure for as much as possible with his value already having gone up form around €15 million to at least €20 million.

The Nerazzurri are not the only club interested in Barak’s signature, with city rivals AC Milan also making him a major transfer target, while Premier League side West Ham United have also already made contact about a possible transfer.
