Inter and Juventus are the two clubs in pole position to sign Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca in the coming transfer windows.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri will go head to head for the 22-year-old’s signature and that the Neroverdi value him as highly as €45 million.

Scamacca has made a big impression with his form for Sassuolo this season, both with his important goals as well as with his overall play.

The young striker’s combination of size, strength, and technical ability has marked him out as a strong candidate to be the long-term successor to Edin Dzeko at Inter.

However, the Nerazzurri will have to face the competition of Juventus in particular for his signature, with the Bianconeri also viewing him as a serious long-term option to revitalize their attack.

Sassuolo value Scamacca at around €40 million, but this could even rise to €45 million based on his form so far this season.
