Inter may sign Barcelona striker Luuk De Jong on loan with Alexis Sanchez heading in the opposite direction, according to a report in the Spanish media today.
As has been reported by Spanish publication, Sport, Barcelona are very keen to offload the Dutch striker who joined them from Sevilla in the summer.
He has not impressed whilst at the club and it is thought that a move elsewhere may ignite his career again. Inter could be that destination with Alexis Sanchez returning to Barcelona as part of the deal.
Luuk De Jong is only on loan from Sevilla so they are also part of the operation meaning it would be a complicated deal to manufacture.
New Barcelona boss Xavi is keen on resigning Alexis Sanchez as he needs a forward who can not only score goals but also provide an attacking option from the wide areas of the pitch when needed.
