Inter are confident that they will find an agreement on extending the contracts of both Marcelo Brozovic and Federico Dimarco.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are confident that Brozovic will agree as he wants to stay, while only a signature is needed to renew with Dimarco.
Brozovic’s current deal is set to expire at the end of June 2022, and securing the 29-year-old’s future beyond next summer has been a major priority for the Nerazzurri.
The Croat’s firm desire is to stay at Inter, and the club feel that they should not face any significant problems in reaching an agreement with him for this reason even if a bit more time is needed.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri are ready to extend Dimarco’s contract with the 24-year-old having a firm place in the team after returning from loan in the summer.
The club are ready to increase the defender’s wages by a net of €1.6 million per season, and the agreement is all but done to keep him on past 2023 when his current deal runs out.
