Inter wing-back Matteo Darmian is set to make his return to the squad from injury for Wednesday’s Serie A clash with Torino.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 31-year-old will be available for the clash having fully recovered from his thigh injury.
Darmian had picked up a thigh injury during the Nerazzurri’s away win against Venezia last month and has missed the past several matches as he has recovered.
However, he has been close to a full recovery for some time and now looks to be fully fit and ready to be included in the squad to face the Granata in the team’s final match before the winter break.
Meanwhile, midfielder Nicolo Barella’s suspension for the Torino clash due to an accumulation of yellow cards has been confirmed, and forward Joaquin Correa will still be out with his thigh injury from which he is expected to return early in 2022.
