Inter-linked Atalanta striker Luis Muriel could leave his current club during the January transfer window.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, who report that the Colombian could ask for a move away from La Dei due to his relative lack of playing time this season.
Muriel has not been a regular feature in Atalanta’s starting eleven this season, with a number of players competing to start in the attacking positions in Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.
The 30-year-old could request a transfer in search of more regular playing time, especially in view of La Dei’s interest in further reinforcing their attack with the signing of Sassuolo forward Jeremie Boga.
Inter have shown an interest in Muriel in the past and have been further linked with a move for him next month, though Atalanta’s desire remains to hold onto the striker.
A number of clubs are interested in Muriel’s signature, and it remains to be seen what comes of his situation, but he looks to be a consideration for Inter.
