Inter could offer Stefano Sensi on loan to Sassuolo as part of an operation to bring in midfielder Davide Frattesi next summer.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that Sensi could return to the Neroverdi on loan for the second half of the season.
Sensi has not been a regular starter for the Nerazzurri this season, both because of injuries and because of the wealth of midfield options in the squad alongside him.
The 26-year-old could be allowed to leave on loan to gain regular playing time, and the Neroverdi are among the possible destinations for him.
Should the Nerazzurri send Sensi on loan to Sassuolo, they would likely try and secure an option to sign current Neroverdi and long-term midfielder target Frattesi as part of the deal.
Frattesi’s form for the Neroverdi this season has made him a target for Inter to refresh their midfield though they would likely only move for him in the summer.
